My name is Matteo and I’m a young kart racer based in Abu Dhabi. I race in Sodi World Series events at Yas Kartzone and Al Forsan. I share my karting journey online as MatteoKart83, where I post POV karting videos, racing sessions, and training content.

how does kartsim help to prepare for races?

KartSim helps me get ready for races even when I’m away from the track. I use it to practice braking points, smooth steering, better race lines, and staying consistent over long runs. It keeps me sharp and helps me keep learning between track sessions. With the new COTF 2026 Esports Pack having Al Forsan in it, it’s even more helpful for me because I can train on a track I actually race on.

biggest achievement?

One of my biggest achievements so far has been consistently improving my lap times at Al Forsan and competing in Sodi World Series races. My main goal right now is to keep building consistency, race awareness, and strong fundamentals as I continue developing as a driver.

What got you into racing?

I first got interested in karting after trying it in Yas Kartzone and immediately loving the feeling of driving. At first it was just for fun, but someone suggested to my dad that I should try racing in the SWS Junior category. From there, I started competing in Sodi World Series races at Yas Kartzone. Now I also race at Al Forsan as I continue to improve and gain more experience.
