Lily Charlton is a competitive junior kart racer and official KartSim Driver Affiliate, steadily rising through the UK’s owner-driver karting scene. As one of the growing number of young female racers making their mark in competitive karting, Lily is known for her focus, commitment and clear progression each season.

Her development is supported by structured simulator training using KartSim’s pro-grade hardware and laser-scanned circuits. This allows Lily to refine braking technique, race starts, overtaking strategy and consistency with the same methodology used by top driver-development programmes.

I raced in the Global Karting Legue National Championship in 2024 along with the Northern Rental Karting League and a bit of Club100 before moving into Owner Karting in 2025.

how does kartsim help to prepare for races?

Qualifying on pole at GYG in 2024 with Global Karting League (now FAT) - I’d practiced really hard on my esports sim to ensure I had decent pace and consistency and I was really proud that it paid off!

biggest achievement?

Last year, in my first year of outdoor racing, I had a top 10 finish in both of the championships I competed in. I also finished the British Women’s Racing Drivers Club Kart championship in 5th place and was ranked the highest newcomer in karting!
