How good really is KartSim? - 60 Minutes Free Summer Coaching Interviews

How realistic is KartSim when it is put in the hands of real karting drivers? During KartSim’s free 60-minute summer coaching sessions, drivers experienced the simulator first-hand and shared their feedback on its realism, training value and potential to improve performance.

KartSim’s karting simulators are designed specifically around the demands of karting, combining kart-style seating, direct steering and precise braking inputs. This gives drivers a focused environment in which they can analyse technique, build consistency and work on areas that may be costing them lap time.

That hardware is combined with KartSim Pro software, using laser-scanned circuits and telemetry-developed physics to recreate the references and characteristics of real-world kart tracks. Powered by rFactor2 karting, the simulation rewards smooth steering, accurate braking, momentum management and precise positioning.

For professional racers, developing drivers and esports competitors, a realistic kart simulator provides the opportunity to repeat techniques and compare improvements in controlled conditions. A dedicated pro karting simulator can support circuit preparation, racecraft practice and simulator setup work before drivers reach the track.

During the summer sessions, KartSim’s driver coaching team also helped drivers understand where improvements could be made, turning simulator laps into structured performance training.

The feedback comes directly from the people using the equipment. Watch the interviews to hear what drivers thought of KartSim and how professional simulation could become part of their wider development programme.
