My name is Max, I am 24, and while I have only been karting competitively for 4 years now, I have made a significant amount of progress. Especially in this last year.

I stopped briefly when my local indoor track unfortunately closed, but I have found a way to take it up on a serious and competitive level after arriving at University.

Kart sim has helped me so much this year, once I got my sim-rig, I decided it would be a worthwhile investment to help me practice at home when I wasn't able to get to the track. I use it to learn new tracks, to try setup changes, gain consistency in lap time, and to build my confidence come race days. The AI races are particularly helpful, as I use them to practice my overtaking moves and the replay feature to analyze those overtakes afterwards to see why one worked and another did not.

I have picked up podiums, to my first wins in both sprint and endurance classes and a 9th place championship finish in my very first season of Owner-Karting.
