The SIM Challenge by SpareBank1 Østlandet invites sim racers and real-world kart drivers from across Norway to compete in a structured national esports championship.

The competition consists of an online qualification phase followed by a live Grand Final, with 32 drivers per class earning a place on the final grid. Using KartSim’s professional-grade simulation and rFactor 2 physics, the championship delivers a fair, competitive, and realistic racing environment.

All drivers must:

  • Be a member of a Norwegian motorsport club
  • Hold a valid NBF licence (IRL or Esports)
  • Own rFactor 2 and KartSim Esports 2025 Full Pack

What Will You Be Driving?

Compete using KartSim’s official fixed-setup kart models, developed for realistic, performance-matched competition.

Two classes are available:
Senior X30 - 13 to 16 years old
Tillotson T4 - 9 to 12 years old

Experience professional-grade kart physics and ultra-realistic track modelling, trusted by real teams and drivers across national and international motorsport.

How To Enter

Register via the online form at the bottom of the page by Sunday 1st of March 2026 at 16:00, then set a lap time in the live qualifying server.

  • Qualifying - 9th February to 8th March
  • Grand Final - Wednesday 25th of March, 4:30pm GMT

You'll need a PC Based Racing Simulator with KartSim Esports Software 2025 - Priced at £39.99 and ⁠rFactor 2 Software with a stable internet connection.
